Housing Customer Service Representative

The Oyster Partnership is seeking an experienced Housing Customer Service professional to join their team as a Customer Service Advisor for Housing. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading provider of housing services in South-East London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to housing customers via telephone and other communication channels.
  • Resolve housing-related queries and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Log and manage reactive repairs and planned works, including defects and maintenance requests.
  • Chase contractors for updates and ensure timely completion of works.
  • Manage arrears and rent queries, providing clear and concise information to customers.
  • Provide reception and switchboard services, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for customers.
  • Maintain high standards of probity and confidentiality, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as reasonably assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in housing customer service, with a strong understanding of housing-related issues and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and contractors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple queries simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in using technology, including computer systems and software, to manage customer interactions and data.
