Orion is currently seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join their team in Aberdeen. As a key member of the organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources functions.

About the Role

This contract position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in absence management, employee relations, and compliance. You will work closely with stakeholders to proactively manage long-term sickness absences, including Occupational Health referrals and Group Income Protection claim submissions. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in collaborating with colleagues and leaders to resolve issues effectively.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual with previous experience in HR Assistant/Officer roles. You should have a proven track record of proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools and be willing to travel occasionally, which may include overnight stays. A digital mindset and curiosity for new technology and ways of working are also essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage all long-term sickness absences, including Occupational Health referrals and Group Income Protection claim submissions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions to reduce absence trends.
  • Provide support in other employee relations cases during periods of high volume or absence as required.
