HR Administrator Job Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced HR Administrator to join our team at Orion Group.

About the Role:

This contract position involves providing administrative support to our clients in a global and virtual environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing long-term sickness absences, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting employee relations cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage all long-term sickness absences, including Occupational Health referrals and Group Income Protection claim submissions.
  • Coach leaders in absence case management, ensuring appropriate documentation is received and stored in accordance with company requirements.
  • Use absence trend data to collaborate with stakeholders and consider targeted interventions and resource development.
  • Provide support in other employee relations cases during periods of high volume or absence as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous HR Assistant/Officer experience.
  • Preferably has experience of supporting employee sickness and absences.
  • Basic understanding of employment law.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools.
What We Offer:

A competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus the opportunity to work with a diverse and dynamic team.
