About the Role

The Account Manager will lead the performance of all Schemes across the South region, maximizing their potential. This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Account Management for key Schemes to deliver regional and UK strategies, and achieve mutually successful partnerships for Hiscox and brokers.
  • Understand opportunities and challenges in the market through close and consistent broker engagement.
  • Build market-leading Scheme propositions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver growth targets on existing and new schemes, identifying new opportunities through broker profiling and prospecting.
  • Collaborate with broker partners and across Hiscox Sales, Underwriting, and Operations to review scheme performance, identify opportunities to grow, improve the proposition, and find efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Account Management experience working for an insurer.
  • Schemes or delegated authority experience would be beneficial.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills combined with a proven track record of relationship management and customer focus.
  • Ability to adapt style to suit multiple levels of engagement.
  • Strong negotiating skills and ability to empathize and influence.
  • Structured and organized to manage portfolio priorities.
