City, University of London and St George's, University of London have merged to create a powerful multi-faculty institution with a focus on professional education and research. We are seeking a Strategic People Director to lead the development and implementation of the people management, staff engagement and well-being elements of the University's Strategy.

The successful candidate will be a member of the University's Senior Leadership Team and will work closely with the University President. They will be responsible for leading a directorate of over 60 colleagues, encompassing strategic leadership around culture, employee engagement, and staff development.

We are looking for an outstanding individual who can define and lead strategic people and culture change at a complex organisation. They will need to articulate a clear vision for a contemporary approach to people-oriented leadership, combining excellent technical knowledge of relevant legislation and policies with a forward-thinking approach.
