Job Overview:

Valkyrie People Consulting is seeking an experienced Strategic HR Director to lead our human resources and talent strategy in support of our manufacturing operations in London. This key role will be responsible for developing and executing a people strategy that aligns with our business objectives, fosters a positive workplace culture, and drives employee engagement and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement our people strategy, aligned with business goals and growth plans.
  • Lead talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning efforts to ensure our organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Oversee employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work culture.
  • Implement learning and development programs to support employee growth and career progression.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations while maintaining best HR practices.
  • Drive performance management processes, including setting KPIs and facilitating regular performance reviews.
  • Provide strategic leadership on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align HR policies with business objectives.
  • Lead organizational design and change management initiatives as needed.
  • Manage employee relations, ensuring effective resolution of disputes and promoting a harmonious work environment.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs to remain competitive in the market.
