At MSL McKesson Strategic Services Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Director to join our team. This role will play a key part in developing and implementing strategies to drive growth and improve performance across our customer base.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the US generic pharmaceutical market and be able to work closely with our customers to identify opportunities for improvement. They will also have excellent commercial and financial acumen, as well as strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Key responsibilities of the role will include leading and developing a team of account managers, working with our Member Engagement team to identify strategic priorities, and developing aligned goals across all customer channels. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that all strategic activities have a clear objective defined, success criteria identified, and a prioritization assigned.

Additionally, the Strategic Account Director will work with our McKesson teams to undertake analysis to ensure that the approach identified is appropriate and addresses the business need. They will also be responsible for recommending alternative approaches to improve the solution, agreeing next steps with stakeholder groups, and identifying the key resources that will deliver the agreed actions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, with experience of working in a commercial role. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work with all levels of management and internal/external customers to get results quickly.

We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who is able to initiate and manage work with a sense of urgency. The successful candidate will also be comfortable in effectively delivering "bad news" and managing conflict to successful resolution.

The Strategic Account Director will be responsible for establishing and engaging in frequent strategic planning meetings aimed at aligning buy-side and sell-side strategies to better meet Member's evolving needs and increase Member profitability. They will also be responsible for presenting initiatives to the ClarusONE leadership team and respective Members, so that they can be aligned on resources and prioritization of activities, and be bought-in to the workstreams.

The Strategic Account Director will be responsible for maintaining high customer satisfaction/NPS ratings and providing support to the Leadership Team in evaluating and developing any non-sourcing related initiatives that will bring greater benefits to the Members.
