About the Opportunity

The University of Central Lancashire is seeking a Teaching Fellow in Healthcare Education to join our faculty. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching and assessing students on the MBBS and Physician Associate programme.

You will work closely with colleagues to develop and deliver curriculum content, assess student performance, and provide feedback. You will also have opportunities to participate in marketing and admissions activities, helping us to promote our programmes to potential students.

To be successful in this position, you will need to hold a primary medical qualification and have experience of working to the standards required of professional bodies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and assess students on the MBBS and Physician Associate programme
  • Develop and deliver curriculum content, including lectures and practical sessions
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback
  • Participate in marketing and admissions activities

Salary Range: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum
