Special Education Support Worker

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Special Education Support Worker to join our team at leading SEN schools across Lancashire.
About the RoleThis rewarding role involves providing tailored support to students with a range of additional needs, including physical, emotional, and learning challenges. As a Healthcare Assistant for SEN Schools, you will play a crucial role in empowering and supporting students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Personalised Care: Assist with daily living activities such as feeding, mobility, and personal care, ensuring the well-being of each student.
- Collaboration with Staff: Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and other healthcare professionals to implement personalised educational and health care strategies.
- Progress Monitoring: Keep detailed records of students' progress and care needs, ensuring clear communication with the wider team.
In return, you can expect a competitive salary of £12.90+ per hour, depending on experience and additional duties, plus benefits such as ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and career.
Requirements- A caring, patient, and compassionate individual with a genuine interest in supporting students with SEN.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or educational support role is desirable but not essential.
- A proactive and flexible approach, able to adapt to the unique needs of each student.
