Healthcare and Education Assistant

About the Job:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthcare Flexible Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Lancashire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and education and be able to provide tailored support to students with special educational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Students: Provide assistance with daily living activities such as feeding, mobility, and personal care, ensuring the well-being of each student.
- Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalised educational and health care plans.
- Keep Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress and care needs, ensuring effective communication with the wider team.
Requirements:
- A degree in a relevant field such as health and social care or special educational needs.
- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
