About the School: Our partner school in Preston is a community-centred primary school that provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students. The school has a strong focus on academic excellence and provides opportunities for staff to develop their skills and knowledge.

The Role: As a teaching assistant - special needs, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities. You will work closely with teachers to develop and implement individualised learning plans and provide one-to-one support to students who require additional assistance.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is preferred but not essential
  • Relevant qualifications in education or child care are desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Salary and Benefits:

  • $75 - $85 per day (dependent on experience/qualifications)
  • 8:45am - 3:10pm working hours
  • Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a mainstream primary school setting
