Veritas Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across various schools in Lancashire.

About the Role:
  • Cover whole classes for PPA release time throughout the school, ensuring continuity of learning and academic progression.
  • Plan and deliver maths and literacy intervention schemes, working with small groups of students, promoting academic achievement and personal growth.

The ideal candidate will have extensive phonics knowledge and be confident in delivering phonics interventions to English as an Additional Language (EAL) children, adapting to meet individual needs and abilities.

This role requires covering sickness within the school, working across both Key Stage 1 and 2, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic education environment.

Successful applicants will possess a qualified HLTA level 4 or above, with previous experience working in primary schools, ideally across Key Stages 1 and 2. They should be able to set out engaging lessons with high expectations for pupils, catering to varied abilities and adapting to different settings.
