Education Support Assistant Vacancy in Preston

We are seeking a qualified Education Support Assistant to join our team in Preston, supporting students with various additional learning needs.

Job Description:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering educational activities through a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Encourage independence and personal development while maintaining high standards of behaviour.
  • Assist with personal care needs and implement positive behaviour management strategies tailored to each child.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working with SEN in either an employed or voluntary setting.
  • GCSE Maths and English at Level 2/C or above is essential.

Benefits:

  • Salary: £21,000 - £22,900 per annum (£11.72 - £12.78 per hour).
  • 40 hours per week, Term Time only.
