Role Overview

As an Educational Healthcare Assistant at Teaching Personnel, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs at one of our leading SEN schools in Lancashire.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care and support to students, addressing their physical, emotional, and learning requirements.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement tailored educational and health care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and care needs, facilitating effective communication within the team.

Essential Requirements:

  • A compassionate and empathetic individual with a genuine interest in supporting students with SEN.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or educational support role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A flexible and proactive approach, capable of adapting to the diverse needs of each student.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care or special educational needs (desired but not necessary).
