Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Needs Support Professional to join our team at Teaching Personnel. This flexible role offers the opportunity to work with children and young people with SEN in various school settings across Preston, Leyland, and Chorley.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will possess a valid UK driving license, previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferably), and a strong passion for supporting individuals with special needs.
Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care where required, ensuring dignity and respect for students with SEN.
- Promoting positive behavior and learning experiences in a school environment.
- Supporting students with SEN in adapting to their individual needs and development.
Requirements:
- A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle (essential).
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred).
- A compassionate and professional attitude.
- Flexibility to work on a bank basis across multiple locations.
