Company Overview:

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers a unique opportunity for a Surgical Fellow to join our General Surgery department. As a fellow, you will play a key role in supporting our experienced surgeons, contributing to clinical research, and developing your surgical skills.

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is around £55,000-£75,000, depending on experience.

Job Description:

Your responsibilities will include assisting in surgical procedures, participating in clinical audits, and engaging in research activities. You will also contribute to the development of new protocols and guidelines to improve patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fully registered with the GMC and holding a valid Licence to Practice
  • MBBS or equivalent degree
  • Basic surgical training in surgery and experience in general surgery
