**Salary Range:** £37,338 - £44,962 per annum, pro rata

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse to join our team as a Tracheostomy Training Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for leading on the design and delivery of education and training programs to healthcare professionals across the region.

As a Tracheostomy Training Lead, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement education plans that meet the needs of patients and their families. You will also be responsible for assisting with clinical reviews and highlighting areas of clinical instability that could be improved through enhanced education and training.

The ideal candidate will have substantial post-registration experience in the daily care of people with long-term tracheostomies, including relevant competencies. You will also have knowledge of tracheostomy altered airway anatomy, clinical experience in tracheostomy weaning methods and therapies, and experience of presenting and teaching to the multi-disciplinary team.

  • Lead on the design and delivery of education and training programs
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement education plans
  • Assist with clinical reviews and highlight areas of clinical instability

  • Relevant professional registration (HCPC / NMC)
  • Evidence of recent Continuous Professional Development relevant to post
  • Teaching and education experience (formal or informal)
