Nurse Educator for Complex Patient Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Educator to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading on education and training provision for patients with complex needs, focusing on tracheostomy care. Your expertise will enable you to create and deliver tailored education programs, promoting high-quality patient care and reducing the risk of complications.

As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with other professionals to develop and implement educational strategies, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Your main duties will include:

  • Designing and delivering education programs for healthcare professionals and patients
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop standardized teaching frameworks
  • Monitoring and evaluating education provision to ensure its effectiveness
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices in tracheostomy care

Salary: £43,759 - £51,668 per annum

Location: Royal Preston Hospital, Preston, PR2 9HT

Contract Type: Full-time

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (09:00-17:00)
