Procurement and Partnership Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Procurement and Partnership Development Manager. As a key member of our Corporate Hub team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future delivery platform for our corporate services.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing contracts, developing strategic partnerships, and leading cross-functional teams. You will work closely with suppliers to ensure they are meeting our needs and will be responsible for developing a framework for the management of our strategic suppliers.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the development of our corporate services and will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a framework for the management of our strategic suppliers
- Manage the ongoing relationship with suppliers, including regular review meetings and the preparation of a systematic review timetable
- Prepare a strategic roadmap for supplier management, taking into account the implications for the Scottish Government
- Manage service claims or other compensatory issues as required
- Act as an escalation point for contractual issues
- Embed a culture of continuous improvement to underpin the future development of our supplier management framework
- Contribute to the conversation around good customer service, initially focusing on HR and Finance services
- Contribute to the engagement with our customers, taking feedback, gathering insights, and drawing out analytics
- Contribute to the development of our shared services catalogue, including how each service is consumed and why
- Contribute to horizon scanning and intelligence gathering to identify changes in demand and customer service requirements
