Sovereign Strategy Ltd is a leading Public Affairs Consultancy that offers bespoke advice to governments and FTSE 100 businesses worldwide. We are currently seeking an experienced Event and Project Management Specialist to join our London team.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the strategic planning and execution of national and international policy-related fora, events, and roundtables. This role requires at least 5 years of experience in a related field, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational skills, and a professional manner when dealing with high-profile clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage projects (end-to-end), including logistics, administration, reporting, and meetings with project managers for company and/or client events.
  2. Develop and implement branding and marketing strategies for Sovereign Strategy, including website and social media management.
  3. Collaborate with Account Managers and Account Executives on project deliverables, planning, and execution.
  4. Oversee annual and client events, ensuring alignment with company and client goals and brand image.
  5. Coordinate with the wider team to create cohesive event and project management that delivers against company and client strategies.
  6. Manage event budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  7. Elevate and execute Sovereign Strategy's social media strategy across multiple platforms to increase brand visibility, engagement, and community growth.
Requirements:
  1. Experience as an Events/Project Manager in a political consulting firm, NGO, or corporate business, preferably within a political environment nationally or globally.
  2. Proficient use of event/project management tools and methodologies.
  3. Proficiency in using and monitoring social media platforms.
  4. Demonstrable ability to lead through complex priorities, working with stakeholders to ensure strategic coherence and identify creative solutions.
  5. Ability to travel for work outside the United Kingdom on occasion for event delivery.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary dependent upon experience: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
