We are seeking an exceptional Strategic Partnership Development Manager to join our team at EventConnect. Located in downtown London, Ontario, our company offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment that fosters growth and innovation.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving account growth and building strong partner relationships through strategic planning, contract negotiation, and upselling of products to maximize revenue and room night sales. You will be responsible for developing and executing partnership strategies to achieve year-over-year increases and ensure customer satisfaction.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Drive account growth by developing and implementing strategic plans to increase revenue, room nights, and reservations
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG PARTNER RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH REGULAR COMMUNICATION AND NEEDS ASSESSMENT
  • Perform regular reviews with partners to evaluate satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and uncover opportunities for growth
  • Manage partner expectations while providing exceptional customer service
  • Forecast and monitor account metrics to ensure key performance indicators are met
  • FACILITATE SOFTWARE TRAINING ON INTERNAL PLATFORMS TO ENABLE PARTNERS TO MAXIMIZE EVENTCONNECT'S POTENTIAL
  • Collaborate with internal development teams to maintain and grow EventConnect software
  • PERFORM ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS SUCH AS COMPLIMENTARY ROOMS, PREPARING PARTNER STRATEGY DOCUMENTS, AND CRM MANAGEMENT
  • EXECUTE AND MANAGE PARTNER PORTFOLIO INCLUDING ESCALATIONS, EVENT PROJECTIONS, AND RISK MANAGEMENT
About You

We are looking for a seasoned account management professional with a proven track record of growing partnerships and exceeding targets. Your expertise in the sports, technology, marketing, and hospitality industries will be valuable assets to our team. A strong understanding of the youth and amateur sports industry is essential, as is knowledge of hotel brands and contracts.

We value strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills. Experience with CRM systems, such as Zendesk or Hubspot, is preferred.
