Job Overview:
As a Strategic Partnerships Manager at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic partnerships with external organizations to generate income. This role requires strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify new opportunities.

About the Role:
The Commercial Partnerships team is responsible for creating mutually beneficial partnerships with clients. As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to align marketing objectives with our technical requirements and member demographic. Your key responsibilities will include proposing activity that provides mutual benefit, designing annual strategic marketing campaigns, and liaising with internal technical managers to align topics.

Responsibilities:
  1. To identify new business opportunities through new client acquisition and growth, spotting business opportunities and working with internal stakeholders.
  2. To generate, through partnerships, a set revenue target as well as managing personal pipelines and leading on key ICAEW initiatives.
  3. To support and work with the Commercial Partnerships Account Management team on delivery of your client's program.
  4. To gain a detailed understanding of ICAEW's strategic objectives and that of our members.
  5. To gain detailed understanding of the clients' marketing and strategic objectives and to work with these to align with our own in the form of a commercial partnership.
  6. To manage a specific portfolio of relationships, including the development of new relationships with potential partners, making the best use of market intelligence, understanding their business and marketing objectives, and matching these to ICAEW's activities and plans.
  7. To develop and establish effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders to align relevant partners to their strategic objectives.

Candidate Profile:
A successful candidate will have a good academic background, demonstrable sales and influencing skills, previous consultative sales experience, and experience working and interacting with C-Suite professionals. An interest or experience in business and finance is beneficial, as is proven project/time management skills, good interpersonal/influencing skills, and adaptability when working with different personalities. A willingness to work well as part of a team, with a flexible, can-do attitude, is essential.

Benefits:
This is a permanent, full-time position with 35 hours per week. The salary is circa £30,000pa depending on experience. You will be working in a hybrid environment, splitting time between the office and home.
