NHS Adult Mental Health Professional

The Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled mental health nurse to join their team as a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older adults with severe mental health problems and dementia.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Act as key worker/care co-ordinator for named individuals, within the Care Programme Approach process.
- Provide high standards of care in a professional manner, ensuring that all care delivered is based on best practice and regularly reviewed.
- Supervise juniors/staff in delivery of care and treatment, supporting them to manage caseloads effectively.
- Participate in Duty Rota to manage new referrals.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- RMN/BSC Hons or Diploma in mental health nursing (NMC registration).
- Driving license required for work purposes.
- Post graduate diploma level experience or equivalent.
The salary for this position is £39,205 - £47,084 per annum, inclusive of benefits. As an NHS employee, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including generous annual leave and opportunities for career progression.
