About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Mental Health Recovery Services team in Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy interventions to support individuals with mental health needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessments, develop personalized care plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions. Your expertise in occupational science and neuroscience will guide your practice, focusing on empowering individuals to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions in community settings, including individual and group sessions
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized care plans
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • HPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Relevant experience in adult mental health services
  • Strong understanding of occupational science and neuroscience principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £31,469 to £47,084 per annum, pro rata, plus 5% fringe HCAS. This full-time position comes with a permanent contract and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
