Lead Technical Researcher Position

We are seeking a Lead Technical Researcher to join our Research, Technology & Innovation Team at Delkia.

Salary Range: £70,000-£90,000 per annum based on experience.

Job Description:

  • Play a key role in conducting technology research and demonstrations to support Delkia's research and product development projects.
  • Ensure that technology developments adhere to safety, environmental, security regulations, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers or managers to plan and organize research tasks and interface with suppliers, partners, and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute research plans to support Delkia's research and product development projects.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date research documentation, products, and services.
  • Support and participate in engineering reviews and assurance activities.
  • Assist in promoting Research and Technology development activities across the organization.
  • Drive innovation in technology solutions and contribute to continuous business improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computing, Science, or Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to deliver technology solutions according to requirements/knowledge objectives.
  • Strong interest and demonstrated skills in technology research and/or demonstration.
  • Postgraduate degree.
  • Chartered Engineer or Member of Professional Association working towards Chartered registration with the Engineering Council.
  • Awareness of legal and regulatory requirements within the technology field.
  • Experience in project management.
