Academic Research Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join the Health Technology Assessment Unit, Applied Health Research hub at the University of Central Lancashire.
The successful candidate will work closely with our team to deliver health- and care-related research, implementation, and evaluation projects, particularly those prioritised through the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Northwest Coast.
Key responsibilities include contributing to research capacity building activities with partner organisations, supporting the strategic development of collaborative research initiatives.
The post holder will be supported by experienced researchers and have access to ongoing training and development opportunities. Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
A PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant area is required, as well as a Master's degree or equivalent. Proven experience of research management in health and care is essential, with a track record of involvement in multiple research and evaluation-based projects.
Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines, are crucial for this role. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and various research software packages, are also required.
Self-motivation, initiative, and excellent communication skills are necessary for success in this position, which involves working independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.
