About the Role

As an Autism Practitioner at Scottish Autism, you will be working with a team to provide support to individuals with autism. Your role will involve developing personalized support plans, building positive relationships with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals, and enabling them to make choices and give input to the shape of their service.

Key Responsibilities

- Communicate with supported individuals in their preferred communication styles and methods
- Support with personal care and daily living tasks
- Support individuals to access and engage in their local community and to take part in activities of their choice during outings
- Record any relevant information about the day-to-day support of our individuals on our digital care planning system
- Support with daily or as required medication

Requirements

- Experience of working within social care is desirable but not essential
- Ability to drive a manual vehicle and hold a full UK driving licence
- Willingness to learn and develop into the role
