About the Team
Scottish Autism's Helensburgh team is committed to providing 24-hour support to three young adults with autism. We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team as Autism Practitioners.
The successful applicants will work closely with the individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals to create personalized support plans and promote independence and social connections.
Key aspects of the job include:
- Developing and implementing tailored support plans.
- Building trusting relationships with the individuals and their families.
- Supporting participation in various activities, such as horse riding, swimming, and music festivals.
- Assisting with daily tasks, including bill payments and decision-making.
- Encouraging independence through life skills development and personal care.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of autism, and a passion for delivering high-quality support.
Working Arrangements
The successful applicants will be required to work shift patterns, including weekends and evenings, to ensure 24-hour support for the individuals. A competitive salary of £23,088 - £24,526 per annum (pro rata) and a range of benefits, including 32 days holiday, life assurance scheme, pension, and more, will be offered to the successful candidates.
