About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to drive profitable and sustainable market share growth for both adidas and JD Group within assigned categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate credibly as the Senior Key Account Manager for designated categories, being the category expert with leading industry & product knowledge.
  • Build and drive against Category Plans supporting overall Strategic Business Plan (SBP), working collaboratively with internal & external counterparts & colleagues.
  • Develop and evolve the range planning & Go-To-Market process to support seasonal input into the Global inline range and to support JD with the planning & framework for future SMU & inline ranges.
  • Conduct best-in-class quarterly sell-ins ensuring achievement of sales, share, and margin targets.
  • Act as the interface between Central Team Coordination (CTC), Brand Activation, and the customer. Ensure regularity and clarity of communication with all touchpoints and highlight any areas which require support or actions.
  • Analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly sell-out data across all territories, stores & online to understand trends and identify opportunities or challenges.
  • Coordinate customer and account teams at key milestones throughout the inline & SMU GTM process and ensure process evolves to best serve the customer and brand.
  • Proactively manage order-book conversion while adhering to margin targets, driven by regular intake planning with JD Buying & Merchandising (B&M) team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing counterparts to drive the plan for focus categories in line with brand objectives. Ensure a bespoke approach to selling while maintaining flexibility and agility in-season.
  • Maintain close relationships with CTC to support a seamless end-to-end SMU & inline process.
  • Work closely with Digital Trading Company (DTC) counterpart to drive online sales and growth in-line with Category Plan/SBP ambitions. Regularly review online store performance to provide feedback & input to the business/ JD to support net sales & share gains.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a SKAM/Key Account Manager with a proven track record of success.
  • High degree of commercial and business acumen.
  • Strong product knowledge to support SMU creation.
  • Proven methodological and analytical skills (business planning, strategic development).
  • Broad and deep functional skills (sales, logistics, finance, IT).
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
