Children and Young People Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Children and Young People Specialist to join our team in London. As part of our Lifelong Links Service, you will work closely with children and young people who are in care or approaching adulthood.
Your main responsibilities will involve developing and implementing focused interventions to strengthen connections between young people and those who can support them. You will also collaborate with Social Workers to create effective, long-term plans for these young individuals.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in working with Looked After Children and Care Leavers, along with a deep understanding of childcare laws and related policies. An FGC Accredited Training and Qualification in a relevant field is required, as well as an 'Enhanced' DBS check.
Achieving a positive outcome for our clients requires dedication, empathy, and strong communication skills. The estimated salary for this position is around £35,000-£40,000 per annum.
