Habilitation Specialist for Children and Young People

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a qualified Habilitation Specialist to join their Sensory Education Support Team. The successful candidate will work with young people with vision impairment, including those with additional needs, across the county.
About the RoleThis part-time position offers flexible working hours and involves delivering teaching and training programmes, monitoring progress and assessing mobility and habilitation needs. The ideal candidate will possess or be near completion of the 'Graduate Diploma in Habilitation and Disabilities of Sight (Children and Young People)' or equivalent qualification.
The role requires collaboration with teachers and work in various environments, including homes, education settings, and the wider community.
