Children and Young People Coordinator Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to fill the role of Children and Young People Coordinator Specialist within our team. This position will play a vital part in ensuring that we deliver outstanding services for children, young people, and families in Somerset.
The ideal candidate will have post-qualifying experience in children and family social work, including substantial child protection experience. They will possess excellent communication skills, be passionate about relationship-based social work, and have a good understanding of planning for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chair Child Protection Conferences and oversee Child Protection Plans.
- Use Quality Assurance Issue and Resolution Policy to ensure outstanding service.
- Liaise with social work teams and oversee plan progression.
We offer a competitive salary of £43,890 - £51,959 per annum, flexible working arrangements, generous annual leave allowance, and staff discounts in gyms.
