Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse to coordinate specialist cancer care across various sites. As a Specialist Cancer Care Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide seamless support to patients receiving non-surgical oncology outpatient care.

The ideal candidate will have substantial post-registration experience in a managerial role and relevant experience of caring for patients with cancer. You will possess excellent organizational skills, time management abilities, and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Support patients attending NSO outpatient appointments and identify supportive care needs.
  • Communicate effectively with CNS teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Work as a regular point of contact for patients and act as a conduit between patients and site-specific CNS teams.

Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse (valid with NMC).
  • Educated to degree level or significant demonstrable experience.
  • Post-registration academic development.
  • National PEAP program for practice supervisors or equivalent teaching and assessing qualification.
