About the Role

This role is critical in ensuring seamless and non-fragmented care for patients receiving Non-Surgical Oncology (NSO) outpatient care away from their usual hospital. As a Specialist Oncology Nurse Leader, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide specialist nursing advice and support to patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support patients during NSO outpatient appointments, identifying and addressing supportive care needs, and communicating these effectively back to the trust CNS team.
  • Provide input and care to patients from other trusts outside the tertiary center, becoming a regular point of contact and conduit between patients and site-specific CNS teams.

Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse (valid with NMC)
  • Educated to degree Level or demonstrable qualification or significant relevant experience working in an NHS organization.
  • Substantial post-registered experience in a managerial role/leadership role.
