Advanced Clinical Pharmacist (Clinical Trials)

We are seeking a highly skilled pharmacist to join our oncology clinical trials team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the Principal Pharmacist Oncology and Oncology Research in the delivery, management, and development of the pharmacy oncology clinical trial service.

The ideal candidate will have relevant post-registration experience in hospital pharmacy, including clinical trials, oncology, and aseptic services. You will also have specialist knowledge of cancer pharmacy, knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, and experience of handling clinical trial material.

Key responsibilities will include supporting the development of ATMP and early phase clinical trials, analyzing complex data, and supervising/training staff. You will also be required to work in a busy and stressful environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.

We offer a competitive salary of £53,755 to £60,504 per annum, pro rata for part-time staff. If you are a motivated and experienced pharmacist looking for a challenging role, please apply.

Key Requirements
  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Post-graduate Clinical Diploma or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • Relevant post-registration experience in hospital pharmacy, including clinical trials, oncology, and aseptic services
  • Specialist knowledge of cancer pharmacy
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and experience of handling clinical trial material
