Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled pharmacist to join our oncology clinical trials team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery, management, and development of the pharmacy oncology clinical trial service at Weston Park Hospital.

The ideal candidate will have relevant post-registration experience in hospital pharmacy, including clinical trials, oncology, and aseptic services. They will also possess specialist knowledge of cancer pharmacy and experience in handling clinical trial material.

The role will involve working closely with the Principal Pharmacist Oncology and Oncology Research to develop and implement service improvements. The successful candidate will be able to analyze complex data, work independently, and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Main Duties
  • Support the delivery, management, and development of the pharmacy oncology clinical trial service.
  • Work closely with the Principal Pharmacist Oncology and Oncology Research to develop and implement service improvements.
  • Provide training and education to staff on clinical trials and oncology pharmacy.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and clinical trial regulations.
