Detailed Job Description

This role involves delivering a safeguarding service that ensures quality training, supervision, audit, and expert advice are available to meet statutory responsibilities in safeguarding children. The post holder will rotate into the MASH and participate in Contextual Safeguarding forums to inform case management and provide health-related expertise.

  • Develop Training Packages: Develop, facilitate, and evaluate training packages within the organization and as needed in partnership with other agencies to promote multi-agency training.
  • Collaborative Working: Work with key professionals and agencies to contribute to the development and delivery of services designed to protect children and young people from harm and promote their welfare through safeguarding processes.
  • Specialist Supervision: Deliver specialist safeguarding supervision to health professionals on issues related to safeguarding children, facilitating reflective analysis against agreed outcomes.
