Cloud Ecosystem Development Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Cloud Ecosystem Development Specialist to join our team at Automat-it. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for identifying and generating leads from startups in the cloud ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in a similar BDR/SDR or sales role, preferably in the B2B tech or cloud ecosystem. They will be able to navigate prospective accounts from and into a senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, research, and qualify potential startup leads within the cloud ecosystem using tools such as LinkedIn, Salesforce, and industry-specific databases.
- Contact prospects through email, phone calls, and social media to generate interest in Automat-it's solutions.
- Maintain a robust and organized sales pipeline in Salesforce, tracking all interactions and ensuring follow-ups.
- Own the initial stages of the sales cycle until handover to Account Manager.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads.
- Stay updated on cloud ecosystem trends, industry developments, and startup activity to refine outreach strategies.
- Attend local AWS and customer events to network, generate leads, and represent Automat-it in the cloud ecosystem community.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in a similar BDR/SDR or sales role, preferably in the B2B tech or cloud ecosystem.
- Proven experience navigating prospective accounts from and into a senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
- Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed lead generation targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Enthusiastic about learning and adapting to new tools, trends, and markets.
- Working experience with Salesforce or Hubspot is an advantage.
- Experience working in startups and knowledge of the local startup ecosystem is an advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud services is an advantage.
