Job Title: Estate Community Liaison Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Estate Community Liaison Officer to join our team at The Land Trust. As a key member of our estates management team, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of our community centre and wider open spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of a community centre and wider open space
  • Monitor and manage contractors
  • Provide first-line support for residents in person and over the phone/emails
  • Be a point of contact for residents and wider community groups, ensuring high standards of customer care and being presentable and approachable for users of the community centre
  • Produce KPI reports and site inspection reports to assist the Service Charge Estate Manager with estate operations
  • Support the Service Charge Estate Manager with handovers of future infrastructure, including landscaping reports and sign-off
  • Engage with and support local community groups and chair multiple user groups, including building user groups, local community steering groups, and resident associations
  • Ensure the community centre is operated in a safe and secure manner and that H&S regulations are adhered to
  • Promote The Land Trust policies and aims
  • Assist with negotiating annual budgets and ad hoc works
  • Monitor and maintain a booking system software to control bookings for the community centre; required to assist with setting up bookings and raising invoices

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a salary sacrifice pension scheme, company matching employee contributions up to 6%, life insurance (4 x salary), and 5 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, rising to 31 days.
