Role Overview

We are looking for a medical library liaison officer to join our team at the University of Cambridge Medical Library.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Medical Library Services and manage a library assistant, delivering and developing services for Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on the UK's average salary ranges for similar positions.

About the Team

The Medical Library team provides a range of services to support the research and learning needs of the University community.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about providing excellent customer service and promoting the use of library resources.

Key Duties

  • Work closely with the Head of Medical Library Services and manage a library assistant.
  • Deliver and develop services in literature searching, current awareness, information skills training, and more.
  • Develop relationships with NHS colleagues and raise awareness through outreach activities.
