About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Law Business Research. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for our dedicated events, working closely with the Content Lead and Sales Managers.
  • Generate new business by identifying and pursuing new corporate clients, building on existing relationships, and leveraging research and client communication to drive sales.
  • Sell sponsorship for allocated events, utilizing your negotiation and communication skills to secure partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain contact with potential clients, utilizing email and telephone communication to build relationships and drive sales.
  • Create and implement a sales plan for products to meet sales targets, utilizing your analytical skills to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of sales performance.
  • Previous experience selling within the legal or professional services market is desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent rapport-building, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience of using a CRM system, with the ability to analyze data and drive business growth.
