Sulis Hospital Bath is a leading healthcare provider, committed to delivering high-quality patient care and services. Our hospital is an integral part of the regional healthcare family, working closely with the Royal United Hospital Bath.

We are currently expanding our facilities with a brand new wing, The Sulis Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SEOC), which will provide improved access for NHS patients to high-quality year-round elective orthopaedic care.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to support the Day Surgery Team in the day-to-day running of their Administration. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to ensure the smooth running of clinical patient administrative processes throughout the patient journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Day Surgery Team in the administration of patient care
  • Manage patient appointments and ensure accurate and efficient communication with patients, consultants, and staff
  • Prepare admission packs and track notes to ensure seamless patient care
  • Capture and manage booking emails and prepare paperwork as required
  • Perform other administrative duties to support the team
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to self-manage and prioritize a varied and high-volume workload
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in data input
  • Experience working in an admin healthcare environment and a fast-paced office environment
About the Role

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
