Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Needs Administrator to join our team at Care New England Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate and functional medical records for patients in our assigned unit.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Initiating, assembling, and maintaining accurate medical records for all patients in the assigned unit.
  2. Viewing and processing physician orders in the electronic medical record system.
  3. Transcribing written physician orders when needed, especially during downtime procedures.
  4. Maintaining bed management records and accessing lab results on the computer.
  5. Performing receptionist and clerical duties, as well as coordinating non-nursing services within the unit.

Estimated salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

A high school diploma and a minimum of one year job-related experience or equivalent are required. Basic computer skills and medical terminology are also essential.
