Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Dispensary Senior Medication Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating medication distribution and ensuring that patients receive their prescribed medications safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate medication delivery, including preparing and packaging medications for patients.
  • Work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication inventory, usage, and disposal.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.

Requirements

  • GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English at grade C or above.
  • Level 2 in Pharmacy Services, including relevant modules to undertake the Band 3 role.
  • Previous experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a pharmacy environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic keyboard skills and knowledge of record keeping.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £26,999 - £33,782 per annum, depending on experience. The position also includes a range of benefits, including annual leave, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
