**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Imaging Support Specialist to join our team at Care New England Health System. In this role, you will assist modality staff in preparing the MRI room for patient exams, including stocking and cleaning of the area.

You will contact appropriate medical facilities, nursing units, and other healthcare providers to obtain pertinent patient information/prior exam reports required for testing of patients. Your responsibility will also include distributing reports to physician offices and other healthcare providers as requested.

  • Patient Transportation: Transport patients to maintain workflow and patient throughput when necessary.
  • Patient Assistance: Assist patients to dressing areas if necessary.
  • Patient Movement: Move patients from stretcher to scanners/patient movement.
  • Paperwork Coordination: Coordinate paperwork/reports on patients throughout the department and to Radiologists.
  • Contrast Delivery: Deliver oral contrast to other areas of the hospital for patient prep prior to testing.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma and experience working with patients in a healthcare setting is preferred.

**Salary:** The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
