Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Care New England Health System.
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage patient scheduling for CT scanning, ensuring safety and comfort. Provide nursing care as needed, monitoring patient condition.
- Conduct interviews with patients regarding contrast sensitivity, review medical records for contraindications, and obtain relevant information.
- Operate imaging equipment according to established protocols, monitor function, and troubleshoot when necessary.
- Prepare patients for venipuncture, insert IVs, and administer contrast as required. Assist radiologists with biopsies and drainages using aseptic techniques.
- Analyze data for image quality and exam completeness. Prepare patient files for radiologists' interpretation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
**Requirements:** Associate's degree in Applied Science with Radiology and 6 months of job-related experience or equivalent. CPR Certification and ARRT required. Certification in CTD is necessary.
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
