We are seeking a highly skilled Band 8a Clinical Psychologist to join our Physical Health Psychology Service. This exciting opportunity will enable you to develop your career within a friendly and dynamic team.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have extensive experience working in stroke and neuro, either in a training or qualified post. You will provide highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy for clients with complex conditions, including risk assessment and management.
Main Responsibilities- Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy for clients with complex conditions.
- Undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual clients.
- Formulate plans for highly specialist psychological therapy and/or management of clients' mental health conditions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied Psychology as accredited by the BPS.
- HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
- Experience working as a qualified applied psychologist within the designated service.
The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
