About the Role:



We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Parker Smith Inclusion. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with special educational needs.



Responsibilities:




  • Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, and learning difficulties
  • Providing 1:1 learning support to children who require it most
  • Working with a variety of needs, including significant complex behaviour challenges and ASC
  • Building rapport with disengaged students and providing patient and understanding support
  • Working with a team of experienced colleagues to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment


Requirements:




  • Experience working with children/young people with special educational needs
  • Learning Support/Teaching Assistant experience
  • Proactive, flexible, and willing approach
  • Ability to build rapport with disengaged students
  • Patience and understanding of the difficulties surrounding children's return to school
