Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits including Season Ticket Loans, NHS discounts, and Salary Sacrifice schemes.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary ADHD service team in NE and West Essex. This role will involve working closely with our Autism Service colleagues to develop a comprehensive neurodevelopmental service, providing specialist psychological assessment and intervention for individuals with suspected ADHD.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Providing specialist psychological assessment and intervention for individuals with suspected ADHD
  • Working closely with PCNs, NHS Talking Therapies, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care pathways
  • Participating in ongoing training and consultation with healthcare professionals across secondary and primary care services
Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctoral degree in Clinical/Counselling Psychology as accredited by the BPS or equivalent
  • Highly developed communication skills, enabling effective liaison with clients, families, carers, and professional colleagues
  • Experience of specialist psychological assessment and intervention across various settings, including outpatient, community, and inpatient settings

  • Fitness Analysis as appropriate
  • Current driving licence
  • Ability to travel across sites and across Trust boundaries to attend meetings
