Hospital Social Services Professional

Hoop Social Work is seeking a Qualified Healthcare Support Worker to join our team in Newport. This is a challenging role that requires a strong understanding of healthcare services and social work principles.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience working in the UK as a registered social worker, relevant Social Work Qualification, Registration with Social Care Wales / Social Work England, Enhanced DBS, and 3 Years of referencing. Additionally, they must hold a driving license and have access to a car.
Salary InformationWe offer a competitive salary of up to £35 per hour, paid through PAYE or Umbrella payroll options. Our dedicated point of contact and support team ensure a smooth experience for all our workers.
Job Responsibilities- Assess people on hospital wards in a fast-paced environment, completing assessments in line with the Social Services and Wellbeing Act.
- Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team within the hospital, using an outcome-focused, person-centered approach to complex case work.
- We offer 20 years' experience of the Social Work market, local agency based in Cardiff, Welsh-speaking consultant available, PAYE and Umbrella payroll options, dedicated point of contact, twice weekly payroll, quarterly training sessions, refer-a-friend scheme, loyalty bonus to QSWs, and wellbeing sessions.
